Ported ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. It applies to your use of useported.app and any associated services.

We collect the following categories of information: • Account data: your name, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account. • Profile data: your studio name, brand colour, and logo if you choose to add them. • Project data: project details, milestone statuses, files, and posts you create within the Service. • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and other interaction data collected via analytics tools. • Payment data: billing information processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers — Stripe handles payment processing under their own privacy policy. • Client portal data: messages and approvals submitted by your clients through portal links you share.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: • Provide and improve the Service. • Process your subscription and send billing-related communications. • Send transactional emails (e.g. account confirmation, password reset, project notifications). • Respond to support requests. • Monitor and enforce our Terms of Service. • Comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share your data only with the following categories of third parties: • Infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email). • Payment processors: Stripe for billing and subscription management. • Analytics: aggregated, anonymised usage data may be shared with analytics services. We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level security in our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics cookies in the future, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you. • Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data. • Deletion: request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements). • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. • Objection: object to certain processing activities. 9. Children's Privacy
Ported is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
